Best brands to buy for hiking/walking boots?

I’m on a bit of a budget, so i don’t really want to spend too much money. I just want good quality ones, but i’ve not got a clue on what brands are better then others?

Gotta try them on to see how each brand fits. Rockport makes some of the best walking shoes. For outdoor hiking, you need more of a boot. The Nike ACG (all conditions gear) line of footwear is great and can be found on sale if you look around at outlet malls & such.
