Why do people wear north face who don’t like the outdoors?

yeahim 14, and i see all these prep people with all their north face jackets and ugg boots. 98% of these people would ever go on an outdoor trip in their life. I was proably the first person in my grade to get a north face jacket and i have a bunch of shirts and bookbags. I go on hiking and whitewater rafting trips with my family every year and we are pretty much into the outdoor lifestyle and i have been brought up that way. All these people just try to fit in with everyone else gets annoying. I thought the north face was for people who want to climb mountains, go hiking, and go camping, not slutty people who wear too much perfume and makeup with their ugg boots

It’s the ‘in’ brand this year. It’s similar to people who wear skateboard brands and probably couldn’t identify the parts of a skateboard.
